Karma Drama 06/29/2011
THE KARMA DRAMA ‘What goes around comes around’ might be one of the most apt expressions to describe Karma. It arises from the universal law that whatever we put out into the universe comes back to us - ‘as you give so you receive‘ or ‘you reap what you sow’ Bad thoughts and deeds return to you. So does kindness, thoughtfulness, love, joy and generosity. The aim of Karma is to teach us lessons so that we learn to comprehend the polarities of separation and unity. In this process we also learn the broad spectrum of human consciousness, and in turn how to navigate ourselves through negativity to align back to positive oneness. Theta Healing Exercise: Connect to the 6th plane and ask Creator for an explanation of the law of Karma. Each person has what is known as a karmic body, it is a sum total of all thoughts, deeds, actions, emotions and experiences. It forms an etheric blueprint around the body and interacts with the matrix of reality. As everything must return to a state of balance and oneness, your karma will be reflected back to you in the form of different events, scenarios and relationships until you completely comprehend the effect of any negativity/positivity you have made. For example if you bullied someone and became the oppressor, you would then perhaps find yourself in a job where you became the victim with a boss that bullies you. Thus, helping to complete your understanding of how your original negative action affected another. This is aligned to the cycle of cause and effect, a motion which your human soul must experience. Theta Healing Exercise: Do a body scan and ask to be shown the Karmic body. You may find karmic knots, which are located on the spine; these are bundles of dense emotions entangled from negative karma. Karma has many lessons to teach us: the value of independence, understanding of finances, limitation of oneself, cooperation with self and/or others, self-expression, laziness towards working, abuse of human freedom, family inner action, abuse of sex and sexuality, understanding, compassion, selfishness, indecisiveness, failure to learn about one's emotional state, power corruption, emotional manipulation and the list goes on. Theta Healing Exercise: Muscle test to see if you have karmic learning about the above themes, then do belief work to resolve. One’s karma can be accumulated in 3 ways: 1. Soul Karma: It is the akashic records which hold your soul’s karma and it is akin to a library where each book represents a different soul. The akashic records detail the soul’s history, experiences and is informed about which lesson’s the soul has completed and which it has not. It is here that any ‘unsatisfactory learning is marked incomplete. It is your soul, before birth that will decide upon the amount of Karmic lessons it chooses to complete in one life. Theta Healing Exercise: Ask Creator what karmic lessons you are learning in this life. Ask for positive downloads to help with your learning. 2. Family Karma: This is an accumulation of karma passed down through the generations and encoded into your DNA. One can inherit both positive and negative thoughts and emotional patterns, diseases and even fortunes from our ancestors. Family Karma can be the most difficult to resolve because one is constantly moving and interacting with members whom are weaved into the same karma drama. Our aim is to help future generations by clearing the negative DNA patterning and replacing it with new positive understandings. The DNA is constantly rearranging with every though you have, and can be easily taught new ways to be behave through mindful action and thought. Theta Healing Exercise: Apply the gene replacement technique or genetic level belief work to help evolve your DNA out of limiting family karma. 3. Karmic Conditioning - It arises from the fact that everything you do conditions your own consciousness. For example if you are constantly angry then your consciousness will be more deeply aligned with the identification of anger. And so every habitual thought, emotion and action adds to the karmic imprint, reinforcing the experience of separation. Meditation and healing practices will help de-clutter this form of karma easily. Theta Healing Exercise: Do belief work on a core level to help deprogram old habits. Now to make things a little more challenging, your soul karma, your family karma plus the karma accumulated from conditioned habit all merge together in one’s consciousness, forming the karmic body, personal identity and in many cases the ego. The up side is that once you release your negative karmic bindings your light body and connection to the divine will increase, moving your soul closer to oneness. Theta Healing Exercise: We learn to clear our karmic body through the 4 levels of belief: soul, core, genetic and history. And we increase our light body via the positive downloads. Your ability to manifest abundance will naturally increase as your karmic body dissolves. The key is to realize that every challenge, opportunity, lesson, serendipity, and grace that our karma brings, is actually training and preparing us to accomplish our greater purpose on earth. By becoming aligned to your higher self and connection to source, you will be guided at every moment to overcome your karma easily and learn your lessons effortlessly. Theta Healing Exercise: Tune into your higher self regularly and develop a stronger connection with it. Or that something is coming from ego or heart? Let’s be clear on what an ego is as the word is banded around in nearly every therapy and healing modality on the planet. Ego means the self, the definition of a conscious person separate as an individual from everyone else. This is where the conflict can arise. We are all individual unique, and we are all interconnected to everyone and everything else in existence. Our essence or soul knows this, experiences this in meditation and Theta Healing and in many other spiritual paths or self help techniques. You want a good understanding of ego and why you have one? Here it is! The ego is your challenger, it’s your competitor. Imagine a great actor or actress. For the sake of this discussion I’ll choose one. Al Pacino. Now imagine Al Pacino or some other actor you admire on stage alone giving a speech. This can be very interesting up to a point. You can admire him and his skill in holding your attention. Take it past 30 minutes and you may find your attention wandering despite his talent. Bring in a competitor, Jodie Foster. She’s skilled, talented and starts to bring the speech to life by interjection. All of a sudden you have a truly alive play and you’re gripped. Each actor inspires the other to get better as they work together. That is essence and ego. You have an ego in order to challenge and inspire yourself to a better life , to help others or do your work in a better way. Whatever your soul’s purpose is in life your ego can help or hinder you. Mostly it will help you as long as you don’t get stuck believing everything it has to say. Ego’s tend to be non arrogant as they normally hold fear, self depreciation and obstacles for you to overcome. Now of course, if you bring your attention to your heart or feelings (essence or soul) you can melt away some of these ego programmes and beliefs. Whatever excuses we have in life for not living the best way we can for ourselves or loved ones comes from your competitor (ego). Every time you do better you are overcoming fears whilst not losing the individual essence you have for yourself in life. Every time you say you can’t, most likely it comes from the competitor inside. It’s time to master the self and nurture who you are. Common competitor ego beliefs are I can’t Someone else has more than me This belief is the only truth and better than anyone else’s. My religion or way to god is the only truth There is not enough This person isn’t good enough I once had a client have a tantrum because I didn’t hold the same beliefs of her. She held the belief of no free will or no free agency and everything’s predestined or fixed. When I told her it’s not part of my matrix of beliefs she started ‘throwing the toys out of her pram and attacking’. This was her ego, which felt threatened and became aggressive at being challenged. She felt in competition. The more she felt this, the more I laughed at it. I learnt to laugh at it and it helped inspire me to write this article. Look out when you get angry, frustrated, jealous or feel like giving up, that is the competitor pushing you to overcome this and get back into your feelings and heart or soul essence. Come join us and explore your life holistically, changing limiting beliefs. (c) Alexandra P.Brown The Pursuit of Happiness 11/18/2010
![]() Choose carefully when considering a partner, whether to go to the cinema, restaurant and how you look after your physical well being. These choices may have a significant effect on your overall life fulfilment. That's according to a study that defies the theory that life happiness is mainly predetermined by your genetic code. The broadly acknowledged "set-point" hypothesis of happiness states that a person's long-term happiness tends to be steady because it is reliant mainly on genetic causes. The idea is based partly on studies that show identical twins have more similar levels of life contentment than non identical twins. This implies that although your level of happiness may sporadically be thrown off by major life events, it will always return to a main set level within 2 years. Bruce Headey at the University of Melbourne in Australia wanted to discover if people really are pre destined for a certain amount of happiness and his team queried people in Germany about their lifestyles, careers and social and religious activities. The survey was first completed by 3000 people a year, and that rose to 60,000 per year by the end of the 25-year study. They found that evident changes in lifestyle resulted in sizeable long-term changes in reported life fulfilment, as opposed to causing the momentary changes in happiness that set-point theory had suggested. One of the greatest influences on a person's happiness was their partner's amount of neuroticism. Those that had partners who scored greatly on tests for neuroticism were more prone to be unhappy – and shown to stay unhappy for as long as the relationship existed. Family values and altruism also predisposed lasting happiness. Those whose yearly survey responses altered to place a higher priority on altruistic habits and family goals were rewarded with a long-term increase in life fulfilment. Those who had a priority of career and material success, experienced a corresponding long-term decline in happiness. The pursuit of happiness was also helped in having strong religious or spiritual convictions. "People who attend church regularly seem to be happier than people who are not religious," says Headey. A person's body weight was another factor for long-term happiness, notably for women. Underweight men scored slightly lower than those with healthy weights, while women stated being considerably less happy when they were obese. Being overweight seemed to have no effect on men's happiness. Robert Cummins at Deakin University in Burwood, Australia, notes that changes in happiness reported by Headey's team could be influenced by individuals falling into or recovering from depression. The group advises its findings may be useful to other populations, having found comparable patterns, as yet unpublished, in the UK and Australia. How is your pursuit of happiness? ![]() There are new atomic clock experiments showing that the pace of time changes at normal speeds and heights – for example, riding a bicycle or climbing up on a step ladder! I always thought time was bendable.. mutable. I remember travelling from Holland and arriving the same time I left and wondering where the hour in the air went? Einstein's relativity theory annihilated the idea that time runs at the same rate for everyone, everywhere in our universe. Time actually slows down in a gravitational field, making clocks run a bit slower on our Earth's surface then they do in deep space. If you hold a Theta brainwave your perception of time ‘bends’. Similar to deep meditation you can feel as if time stops or becomes intensely packed with information within 15- 60 seconds. Einsteins theory also predicts time is changed by velocity differences between observers. In Theta Healing we’ve known how you observe or perceive a thing is going to change your life. Which brings me onto the strangely named twin paradox. A twin returning from a journey in a fast-moving spacecraft will have aged much less then the twin who remained at home. We also know that the observer changes the observed. How you perceive an object or a living being changes them. This is why in Theta Healing it’s so important how you perceive your self, your life, others around you and what your beliefs hold to be true for you. Time effects have been demonstrated in numerous experiments, including one that sent atomic clocks flying in airplanes and showed they fell behind the clocks that stayed on the ground, because of the difference in velocity. Another showed that an atomic clock slowed down when it was launched on a rocket, 10,000 kilometres above Earth's surface. This is where the earths’ gravitational field is weaker. James Chin-Wen Chou from the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Colorado, led a team that used atomic clocks to show the effects of relativity. Thought experiments The time-slowing effects of gravity have been measured on smaller distances than 33 centimetres. In February, a team that included US Energy Secretary and Nobel prizewinning physicist Steven Chu reported seeing these effects when the difference in height between two objects was just 0.1 millimetre. It showed that waves at different heights oscillate at different frequencies due to gravitational time stretching. In Theta Healing Academy courses you too can learn how to change your beliefs and ‘bend’ time. But the new results by Chou's team represent the first time that atomic clocks have been used to show the gravitational effect over such small distances and the velocity effect at such small speeds. "When we learn relativity in school, clocks in different reference frames are usually introduced to illustrate the results of relativity," Chou says. "In that sense, this paper resembles more closely the thought experiments that teachers use to teach relativity." We know that thoughts change things. Your mind IS that powerful. Isn’t it time you mastered how to change your thoughts and beliefs now? When you want to live the life you love, when would now be a good time?
